Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Knock collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Knock is published by PrecisionGrid Advisory, LLC (“we” or “us”).
Information we collect
We collect only what Knock needs to run multiplayer matches and keep ratings.
- Account details. Knock creates an account for you the first time you play. The account uses an identifier tied to your device and the display name you choose.
- Device identifier. Knock creates a random identifier and stores it on your device. It lets you return to your seat if your connection drops. It is not your Apple advertising identifier.
- Gameplay data. This covers your bids, the cards you play, your scores, your match results, and your skill rating. For ranked matches we keep a record of each card played, to confirm results and settle disputes.
- Connection data. Our networking provider receives your IP address and basic connection information while you are in a match.
- Purchase status. We receive confirmation from Apple that your subscription is active. Apple handles your payment, and we never see your card or bank details.
How we use information
We use the information above to run matches, connect you with other players, reconnect you after a dropped connection, calculate and store skill ratings, provide your subscription, answer support requests, and keep the game fair.
We do not sell your information. We do not show advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
What other players see
Other players at your table see your display name, your bids, the cards you play, your scores, and your rating. Your cards stay hidden from other players until you play them.
Service providers
We share information only with the providers that operate parts of Knock for us.
- Photon, by Exit Games. Real-time multiplayer networking. See the Photon privacy policy.

- Apple. App distribution and subscription payments. See the Apple privacy policy.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep information
We keep your account, rating, and match history while your account is active. Ranked match records are kept with the results they support. When you delete your account, we remove this information within 30 days, apart from anything the law requires us to keep.
Your choices
You can change your display name in the game. You can delete your account at any time from the settings menu in Knock, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to see, correct, or receive a copy of your information. Email us to make a request.
Children
Knock is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections and stored with providers that use industry-standard protections. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will also give notice in the game.
